چکیده

Abstract The Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of metal materials has been widely used in photocatalysis, light sensing, biomarkers, solar cells and other fields. In this study, the surface characteristics tungsten (W) nanowires with different diameters lengths are analyzed using finite element method. thermal effect gap crossed induced by plasma is studied. Results show that peak shifts red, intensity increases increase diameter. increasing diameter results decreasing electric field heat nanowires. frequency peaks almost remains unchanged length. two to six wave belly modes visible nanowire With exposure incident light, SPR shortened spacing generated between Once welded, production part decreases, which indicates self-limitation welding.

Surface Plasmon Resonance-Induced Stiffening of Silver Nanowires

We report the results of a computational, atomistic electrodynamics study of the effects of electromagnetic waves on the mechanical properties, and specifically the Young's modulus of silver nanowires. We find that the Young's modulus of the nanowires is strongly dependent on the optical excitation energy, with a peak enhancement occurring at the localized surface plasmon resonance frequency. W...

Fabrication and Characterization of the Fiber Optical Taper for a Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor

For a fiber optical surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor a short part of its cladding should be removed to coat a thin layer of a metal. Usually this is problematic when an optical fiber with small core diameter is used. In this paper, a new method using µliter droplet of the HF acid for short fiber optical taper fabrication is reported. Using this method in a multi-mode optical fiber w...

Imaging surface plasmon resonance

The central theme of this thesis is the use of imaging Surface Plasmon Resonance (iSPR) as a tool in the characterization of surfaces with laterally varying properties. Within the scope of this work, an instrument for iSPR analysis was designed and built. SPR is a very sensitive technique for monitoring changes in optical properties in the immediate vicinity of a sensor surface, which is very u...
